From computer to music system

The David Wiener Collection (DWC) introduces the Art.Solista USB Wireless Transmission System.

The compact Art.Solista claims to improve the sound of digital music files and allows users to wirelessly stream all the music files from their computers to any audio system just by plugging in the Art.Solista via USB.

David Wiener Collection Art.SolistaThe Art.Solista uses DWC-Aphex and DWC-Wireless, DWC's proprietary audio enhancement circuitry and wireless technologies.

DWC-Aphex claims to restore "spaciousness, detail and impact" to compressed music files.

While using the fairly common 2.4 GHz range, DWC-Wireless uses "Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum" technology that DWC claims provides a secure wireless connection.

The Art.Solista transmitter is approximately paperback book sized. It is machined from a solid block of aluminum and is hand polished and anodized.

The Art.Solista receiver is also constructed of machined aluminum and hand-assembled.

Art.Solista claims to require only a minute for set-up time. The transmitter draws power from the USB connection. A second receiver can be added to enable two audio systems to play music from the same computer.

The Art.Solista is available now.

Art.Solista: $999
