Sit and Spin

Pair a smart-looking office chair with a computer/power connection and what do you get?

The Coffice, a sophisticated seat designed by Bene that allows you to log in and look cool at the same time.

“The Coffice was created for a new zone,” says Thomas Bene of the European furniture company. “It’s a fusion of the office with a café.”

Eighty percent of all innovation arises, Bene says, outside the office. That means the best ideas come to be after a meeting—in a casual setting such as a media room, in a coffee house, or around the office water cooler.

Urban in design and practical in function, the Coffice gets your creative juices flowing. The armrest supports reading material or a laptop, iPod or portable DVD player. Just plug in.

You’ll look cool and the ideas will start flowing. Options include dozens of fabrics and leathers, a 17- or 19-inch LCD screen, desk lamp or tray in a single-seat chair (shown) or a two- or three-seat sofa.

PRICE: available upon request to Bene
