Is it a chair with speakers, or speakers with a chair?

BodySound has come up with a solution for consumers who like to keep in-room clutter to a minimum.

The company has created a line of specialty furniture that eliminates the need for in-room speakers.

BodySoundThe line is comprised of a variety of fine leather seating—from armchairs to loveseats.

Each seat has a 7-speaker, 650-watt, personalized surround sound system. They are customizable so that every seat’s sound characteristics can be fine-tuned to match the preference of its user.

The chairs have steel framing construction that allows for full-spectrum vibrations. This feature is also customizable, as the user is able to control how much or how little they want to feel. The furniture is able to automatically adjust to the user’s settings.

BodySound furniture is wireless. This can be crucial for consumers who do not want to compromise high quality sound, yet are faced with a challenging space to work with.

Twelve years of research went into the development of these pieces, including medical research on the relaxation effects produced by sound and vibration.

The company claims that their focus is on the engagement of all of the users’ senses with their furniture design.
