Big, but Small

Krell has introduced two new amplifiers for their S Series, the S-275 and S-150M.

These were designed to be small enough to allow multiple amps where previously only a single one would fit, yet still provide the power Krell amps are known for.

All the info after the jump...

“With technology sourced from our flagship Evolution amplifiers but in a footprint and price that is significantly smaller, the S-275 and S-150m amplifiers deliver Krell performance in installations where a lesser product would normally have been selected.” said Bill McKiegan, Vice President, USA Sales and Marketing. “It’s an affordable way to bring Krell’s incomparable sound quality into any home.”

The S-275 has a claimed 275 watts for each of its two channels, or you can bridge them to have 550 watts in mono mode. The S-275 is half the width of most amps, so you can fit two in the space of one "regular" sized amp.

The S-150M is rated at 150 watts into 8 ohms and 300 into 4. As you can see in the images, it is very skinny, only 3.4-inches wide. If you stacked them side by side, you could fit 5 of them in the space of a chunky (sorry, big boned) amp.

Both have 12-volt triggers and are available with either a black or silver brushed-aluminum faceplate.

PRICE:
S-275: $5,500
S-150M: $2,500
