Runco QuantumColor Q-750i LED Projector

 A Quantum leap for Runco.

Runco is launching its first LED-based projectors, the QuantumColor Q-750i and Q-750d.

Both of these 1080p models use InfiniLight lampless LED technology, which the company says uses 70 percent less power than a lamp-based projector. LED technology offers a significantly longer life span and eliminates the need to replace and dispose of a lamp.

The projectors feature an advanced set of color options, allowing the installer to precisely configure different color parameters for different source content. Color gamuts include DCI (Digital Cinema Initiative), Adobe RGB, sRGB, REC 709, and REC 601. The Personal Color Equalizer allows for precise adjustment of all six color points, while the Runco SmartColor (RSC) technology allows for hue compensation and gamut mapping.

Two lens options are available, as are the CineWide and CineWide with Auto Scope modes. The InstantOn feature provides a nearly immediate projected image when you turn on the projector.

The main difference between the two models is that the Q-750i features integrated video processing, while the Q-750d comes with the latest DHD controller/processor.

PRICE & AVAILABILITY
Runco QuantumColor Q-750i: November, $14,995.
Runco QuantumColor Q-750d: December, $17,995
