Skipping the flash, this theater goes for clean looks and high performance.
When this Florida homeowner was looking to convert his TV room into a full-on home cinema, he turned to Advanced Audio Design in Sarasota.
The result is both elegant and stylishly simple.

Andrew Aguenther and his team from Advanced Audio Design built the theater out of what was a very simple media room. It had a few chairs, a sofa, and a small rear-projection television.
French doors were sealed off in the back of the room for light control and for a place to hang the screen.
Gear upgrades certainly weren't skimped on. A Runco VX-2C with Cinewide shoots onto a Stewart Filmscreen Firehawk.
For sound, amplification and processing is done by Audio Design Associates (ADA) gear. Their PTM8150 for the former, and their Cinema Rhapsody 3 for the latter.

The homeowner's existing speakers were used for the front mains, but Triad in-ceiling speakers are used in the back.
A Crestron control system ties it all together.
The art prints on the walls are actually acoustic panels from 3-D Squared Inc.
