Blu-ray (not HD DVD)

Well, it's finally happened. Toshiba has given BD their love.

The new BDX2000 has all the features you'd expect from a latest-gen BD player.

The Profile 2.0 player has 1080p/24 output, is ENERGY STAR Certified and has an SD Card slot. Using Toshiba's REGZA-LINK, the BDX2000 can be controlled by any recent model Toshiba REGZA LCD TV.

While not the flashiest of players, the BDX2000 does come with an excellent price tag: $250.

Sadly, the BDX2000 does not play HD-DVDs. The BDX2000 will be available in November.
