Talk of the Town of Allendale, New Jersey, recently celebrated the re-opening of one of its showrooms, a heavily redesigned space that features seven home theater and home automation rooms.

In addition to home cinema, the facility was rebuilt to highlight home automation technologies for families looking to improve their house while the economy go through this rough patch. It also serves as an environment to educate architects and interior designers.

Krell is now shipping its latest surround sound preamplifier/processors, which capitalize on HDMI 1.3 and its range of support for new formats, such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD.

There will be two models: the $10,000 S-1200 and the $12,000 S-1200U.

Showroom Splendor in West Hollywood

Home theaters can be pretty grand, but this one, designed by First Impressions Themed Theatres Inc. is probably one of the grandest. 

This 13-seat theater, named "Cinema de la Mer," almost seems as if it could seat more and comes complete with a lobby, which in and of itself would make most people's jaws drop before they even saw the main room.
