Go Fish
If kicking back in your boxy leather theater chair makes you feel like a fish out of water, take the leap and go modern with Brueton’s Fishtale
chaise lounge.
“The chair wraps around you; it’s like sitting in a spa,” says Tom Hammond, owner of Brueton’s Los Angeles store.
All the info after the jump.
Unlike most contemporary sofas or chairs, the Fish’s design is angled to provide impeccable lumbar support while you lounge.
Inspired by an African carved-wood stool that principle designer Stanley Jay Friedman saw in the Louvre, the chaise’s shape allows the user sit up and recline simultaneously while lending full support to the back.
The one-piece chaise or chair/ottoman ensemble comes with stainless steel or polished satin-finish legs, and is available in 24 new eco-friendly leathers, dozens of Brueton fabrics and leathers, or your own material.
PRICE:
$6,035/chair,
$3,918/ottoman,
$8,743/chaise
