Mix it Up
The German-designed Arthe, part of DDC’s home theater collection, is a jack-of-all trades.
It can function as a single sofa, a single chair, a sofa plus a chaise lounge or a chair, or a futon-like surface for napping (just pivot the backrest down).
“It’s all about function,” says DDC’s Seemak Hakakian. “All of our furniture is designed to be used and function well—and be comfortable.”
For example, the sectional’s seating depth can be customized on a whim simply by moving the backrest forward or backward.
The Arthe is available in dozens of removable fabric and upholstery, and the frame can be finished in titanium, aluminum, nickel, white, or black lacquer.
The glass-and-metal table ($925) fits into the sectional’s design neatly and discreetly.
