The Return of the King
JVC announced today four (ok, really two) new projectors. These are in addition (not replacements) for their excellent RS2 and HD100.
The DLA-RS10 and DLA-RS20 are the names for the projectors sold through the pro side, for the consumer side it’s the DLA-HD350 and the DLA-HD750. All are 1080p and share a case design with either silver or gold accents.
The RS20 and HD750 are THX-Certified and have a native contrast ratio (no dynamic iris) of 30,000:1.
The RS10 has a native contrast ratio of 17,000:1, while the HD350’s 15,000:1.
All the projectors use Silicon Optix’s HQV Reon-VX and have a +/- 80 degree vertical and +/- 34 horizontal.
All will be available in November.
