Audio Only, Thank You
Parasound's Halo P7 preamp shuns the world of video in favor of pure audiophile performance.
Designed for both analog two-channel and multi-channel, the Halo P7 has 10 inputs including a phono input, two 7.1 channel inputs, and both XLR balanced connections and regular RCA style unbalanced. There is a 1/8-inch stereo input on the front for a portable MP3 player, and a 1/8th stereo output for high-end headphones.
Thinking about the custom market, the Halo P7 includes a RS-232, discrete IR codes, an IR repeater input/loop jacks and three DC triggers to help you control the rest of your system.
Parasound claims a frequency response of 5 Hz – 100 kHz +0/-3db, an IHF A-Weighted S/N ratio of greater than 110 db, crosstalk of 85db at 20 kHz, THD distortion of less than 0.006% at 20 kHz, and a noise floor of 10 dB less than a normal A/V receiver.
The Parasound Halo P7 is available now for an MSRP of $2,000.
