Ottoman transforms into extra theater seat

I have to admit, I wish I had thought of this one. Seating in my theater is always rather limited, yet of course everyone wants to come over and watch movies on the big screen. More often than not, we have to drag chairs in from other rooms to accommodate everyone. Well no more.

This ottoman pops open when you need it to reveal a theater seat, complete with cup holder and microsuede interior. Later this fall it will be available in other fabrics and colors in addition to the brown and black leather available now. There are two stitching styles to match Salamander's theater seating.

In ottoman form the Jump Seat is 15.25 inches tall, 31 inches wide, and 24.5 inches deep. After you pull it open, the seat itself is 22 inches wide and 17 inches deep, with a 24-inch high backrest. Behind the cup holder is a compartment for remotes or game controllers.

The Jump Seat is available now from Salamander dealers.

PRICE: $999 (and up, depending on options)
