Fun in the Sun

SunBriteTV has announced three new all-weather outdoor LCD TVs. How all weather? They claim the TV will be all cozy in their aluminum enclosures at temperatures up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, and down to -24 degrees.

This is thanks to a filtered baffle system that directs airflow to cool the display as much as it needs, thanks to a tie-in to the internal temperature sensor of the TV. On the cold side, there's a heater to warm the TV by up to 20 degrees.

It wouldn't do if moisture got in with your cables, so there's a water-tight cable system in the back so you can still hook up HDMI, component, or even PC-RGB. There is both IR control, and RS-232. The remote that ships with the TV is water-resistant as well.

The speakers on the 46 and 32-inch models can be removed if you want to hook them up to your outdoor audio system.

On their website, SunBriteTV also has a section with images from outdoor installations featuring their products. There's some great outdoor theaters on display. You can find it here.

There are three models, all available now.

PRICE:
