Bringing a Splash of Art Home

ArtScreen, from Vutec are more than just pieces of artwork.

In fact, each one serves a dual purpose. ArtScreen products transform and cover everything, including LCDs, video projection screens, plasma TVs and speakers with beautiful art. They add a splash of color and flair of to any home’s décor palette.

But which one to choose?

ArtScreen

The basic ArtScreen is designed for ease of installation and housed inside an elegant hardwood frame.

An internal motor ascends or descends the artwork at the touch of a remote. And voila, the viewing screen is revealed.

When the screen or television is not in use, the art-on-canvas image of your choosing is displayed within the frame.

ArtScreen is offered for video displays from 32 inches to over 65 inches. Custom sizes as well as rear projection screen formats can also be accommodated (more on this in a moment).

The frame is also available in an array styles and liners. As for the art itself, a variety of fine art reproductions printed on artist’s canvas from contemporary artists are available. In addition to the many different art pieces, there’s also the option to use personalized artwork or photographs.

ArtScreen CineScape

For converting a video projection screen into an art piece, the CineScape is just what the art lover ordered.

Available for 84-inch, 93-inch, 103-inch and 110-inch diagonal screens (custom sizes can also be accommodated). Cinescape also can be purchased for front projection (CineScape-F) or rear projection (Cinescape-R).

Inside a hardwood frame, the artwork ascends or descends with the touch of a remote. Recessed and surface mount versions are available to compliment any interior design or décor.

ArtScreen R-Series

The ArtScreen R-Series combines a flat screen masking system with a high-tech motorized wall mount.

The remote controlled robotic arm adjusts the viewing angle of the flat panel displays for elimination of glare and reflection.

It can be tilted up to 7 degrees and down to 25 degrees, and has a left or right range of motion from 20 degrees to 28 degrees.  The push of a button extends the flat screen display 12 inches from the wall.

In addition, two programmable memory locations are provided to recall viewing preferences. The R-Series in offered in surface mount and recessed versions and accommodates flat panel displays between 40 inches and 65 inches and plasma and LCD TVs 40 inches and above.

A universal IR remote control is provided to control R-Series as well as other AV components and is compatible with RS-232-based control systems from AMX, Crestron and other control systems.

ArtScreen SoundScape 360

To hide your speakers as well as your TV, Vutec’s SoundScape 360 is the company’s second-generation ArtScreen designed to conceal a single point surround or a center channel speaker. It can be built to order to accommodate most speaker models.

Theater Art Systems –Vertical and Horizontal Masking

Say you want an even bigger screen, but you don’t want to see it when it's not in use. Say you also hate black bars.

If so, the Theater Art System combines an automatic vertical or horizontal masking system that automatically becomes a 2.35:1 CinemaScope aspect ratio. (Vertical masking is on the left below, while horizontal is on the right)
