Montegiro Legno Turntable

The beauty of vinyl.

Audiophiles will surely drool over this gorgeous high-end turntable from German company Montegiro. The Legno combines bamboo and high-grade steel to produce beautiful music in a beautiful form factor.

Montegiro Legno Turntable

Montegiro chose to clad the Legno chassis in bamboo because of the wood’s stabilizing and resonance-damping properties. The turntable mechanism rests on four adjustable, high-grade steel feet that are decoupled by embedded O-rings constructed of rubber composite. Another set of O-rings decouples the synchronous motor, which is driven by a high-end outboard controller.

The Legno’s tonearm is an integral 10.5-inch model that has been modified for Montegiro, and it comes with a cartridge from Koetsu. This particular tonearm is optional; you can also choose between models from Da Vinci Audio Labs, SME Ltd., and Jelco.

The Legno, which is available now, is distributed in the United States by Koetsu USA.

PRICE:

Montegiro Legno Turntable: $13,240
