Ottoman and hideaway theater seat in one.

Showcasing at CES is a great home theater accessory from Salamander Designs, Ltd. From the exterior, it looks just like a regular ottoman to kick your legs up on and enjoy the show. What’s inside is so much more.

Take a peek.

Converting from a comfy lounging ottoman to extra seating, the JumpSeat Ottoman is multi-functioning. That’s right, you get both an ottoman and theater seat in the JumpSeat, all for $999. Available in chocolate or eclipse leather ottomans and espresso or black micro suede seats, the JumpSeat can be used as a secondary or extra seat for watching movies or playing games

The JumpSeat features a sturdy, patented mechanism that helps the top smoothly rise into a vertical position, revealing a padded seat and backrest. The generously sized seat is 22 inches wide by 17 inches deep, with the backrest 24 inches high. When closed, the seat measures 31 inches by 24.5 inches by 15.25 inches.

A cup holder and a small compartment for remote controls or game controllers rest along the seat’s right-hand side. It comes supplied with a set of sturdy wood feet and four rolling casters for mobility.

Whether as an ottoman or as seating, it works equally well with the full spectrum of Salamander Designs’ varied Home Theater seating systems.

The JumpSeat is available now, and will have other leather and fabric options starting in the Spring.

Available for $999.
