A grand evolution.
SIM2’s flagship DLP projector, the Grand Cinema HT5000, has received an upgrade. The new HT5000E retains many of the core technologies and features that distinguish its predecessor while adding a few new touches to ensure optimum performance.

The HT5000E is a three-chip 1080p DLP projector that incorporates Texas Instruments’ newer DarkChip4 DMDs (as opposed to the DarkChip3 in the original HT5000). SIM2 promises high light output for large-scale home theater applications, and you have a choice of six lens options, ranging from short-throw wide-angle (0.67:1) to long-throw (4.16–6.96:1).
With the launch of the HT5000E, SIM2 is adding special VIP white glove service. Within two weeks of your purchase of this projector, your dealer will arrange to have a SIM2 technician pay you an in-house visit to certify the installation and calibrate the projector to suit your exact needs.
The new model also has an Ethernet connection, so you can add it to your network to perform remote control functions and send operating status information to a designated e-mail address for assessment.
The Grand Cinema HT5000E is slated for release this month for a suggested retail price of $57,995.
