Hidden Sound from Up High More after the jump… The HSi 430 features a round bezel while the HSi 435 has a square bezel. The reduced bezel size on both models allow for a virtually invisible installation in the ceiling. Both models are two-way configurations with 3.5-inch woofers and ¾ inch tweeters. Each model features a metal black enclosure with front-firing ports for extended bass response. For ease of installation, the HSi 430 and HSi 435 are designed for use in either pairs for stereo use or in multi-speaker configurations for larger areas. With “metal can” backs, these loudspeakers are ideal for either new ceiling installations or for retrofit into exiting ceilings. The speakers feature a switchable high pass filter that removes bass frequencies below 180 hertz for use with a subwoofer. Speaking of subwoofers... The HSi S6W2 in-ceiling sub features dual, high-performance 6-inch woofers in a bandpass enclosure resulting in a claimed frequency response of 50 to 180 hertz. An in-ceiling subwoofer is a virtually invisible way to add bass to any room. The port has a flexible tube for easier installation. PRICE: CONTACT: bostonacoustics.com | |
