Marantz has announced its new flagship Blu-ray player, the UD9004.

Unlike nearly all other BD players, this one also plays SACD and DVD-Audio discs.

A Flatter Flat

New LCDs, New RPTVs

Mitsubishi seems determined to be the last RPTV company standing, as exampled by the announcement of two new RPTV lines.

Interestingly, the words "rear projection" appear nowhere on the press release or website.

JVC's 2009 Press Conference at CES previewed a number of interesting new HDTV designs, including a super-thin LCD prototype that measures a super-skinny 7mm (.28 inch) cabinet depth. While no price or availability was announced, the prototype looked great on perched on a sculptured two-leg chromed pedestal.
